Hello, I’m Andrew, and I recently acquired a piece of territory, AR059a.
I am intending to create a capitalist state with an (almost) regulation-free market, low taxes but a more liberal-minded view towards infrastructure (only). Most people will speak English (ingerish?)
But, before all of that…I require a name for my country. I have absolutely no clue what to name it. Any suggestions?

Kapitalia? Kiubina? I wish you could have invited a different culture for a people who don’t speak Ingerish. Given your close promiscuity with nations speaking Spanish, you may use Castallense for you language if you like.

What do you mean? Motorways wherever space is?
But remember: Low taxes! That means there is no money for government built motorways. They must be toll routes with toll booths. And most importantly, these unregulated companies never connect their motorways to those of the other companies. Bye bye, five-level-stack-interchange then…

@Toadwart: No, not necesarily. Toll booths are a cheap system but it also limits the capacity of the road greatly, and therefore limits profits (and in case of any traffic jams caused by it it gives the road bad publitity). There are other ways of doing that, such as radio-based systems. Also, “they never connect their roads” is not true as well because if they connect then more people are likely to use their roads = more profit for both sides.
@andrepoiy: Good luck with your country, I’ve planned my second country to be ruled by minarchist/classical liberal govt as well.

@zhenkang You shouldn’t choose a language based on the countries next to you, especially if you are a colony. You should use a language you are fluent in or completely make up a language. If you use a language you don’t understand, you’re liable to end up with gobbledygook names. Then, you can choose a country where that language would make sense.
I agree with Toadwart- don’t use a ‘infrastructure keen’ government as an excuse for overmapping infrastructure- keep it realistic. However, I am impressed that you are actually thinking about things like the government before mapping: most new mappers start mapping without a plan and it ends up messy.
