I think it would be cool if, like in Google Maps, we could click on buildings and city names and read info about them instead of having to type them in on the search bar. And even then it’s a raw table with the attributes and values.

OGF is based on OpenStreetMap. Please read this to know why they don’t have it.
TLDR: OSM is not a commercial map service: It is for mappers, thus end-user convenience is not considered. Same should also apply in OGF.

You can use the ‘Query features’ tool. Just click on the question mark on the menu on right of the OGF map and then click the object you want to know more about. It’s not as intuitive as Maps but it does the job.

So as Yuri says it is sort-of possible if you use tagging properly and then the Query Features tool. I’ve demonstrated what’s possible on a cycle shop in Dunwic.

If you want to read info about a place, for example a building, just tap it and the info will show. Or are you trying to ask something else?
