Is it collaberative now? I would like for it not to become the Northwest Ulethan version of Midistland. There needs to be STRUCTURED mapping there now while it is relatively empty.

Midstland is a mess unfortunately. There are parts where it there is good mapping, but on the whole the country needs a rework.

Vinnmark is an unofficial collaborative, so it’s not shown as collaborative on the overview map, or the master list of territories, or the official collaboratives directory. This means you shouldn’t get too many random people wandering in and mapping random stuff, and it should be easy for whoever is involved to plan and coordinate with each other.
It’s my hope that Midistland, like Commonia, can change from blue to purple in the not so distant future, and undergo a serious rethinking at that point in time.

adminero_us already asked for help structuring Vinnmark a long time ago and I replied to his call by setting up the general structure for the south of the country next to Kalm, including a rough sketch of Vinnmark’s second or third largest city - Varlonge, where afterwards he stepped in again to add some details. I consider this part of Vinnmark as “set” and I would really love to have a realistic and nicely drawn area next to Kalm.
Western Uletha is not the place for blue territories, but purple countries are welcome (but only a few). In any case, at the moment I think it’s better to keep Vinnmark as an “unofficially collaborative” country.

I did some basic geographical work through Vinnmark to look more realistic. Maybe others can use this as a base.

Thank you. I kind of like it. It gives the country some character and I managed to work the geography around it. I kind of got carried away a little bit lay night as I was extremely bored. blush
