Today I tried to go mapping a bit, but there are problems with editing tools of the in-browser editor. When I click on a line for example, nothing happens, it’s like I’ve not clicked, I can’t select anything, and I didn’t find any way to solve this problem. It happens sometimes and I can’t edit…

If I remember right this happens for lines where the nodes are very far apart… In the long run using a more capable editor, such as JOSM, makes a lot of sense.

I think I know what you are talking about, but it happens with all the lines, nodes and polygones. I use JOSM too, but only for boundaries, main roads and coastlines… The in browser editor is so convenient and easy to use…

I’ve had this problem before, and quite often as well. Try closing a couple of programs that could be eating up your memory (if you’re on Windows, open your Task Manager; if you’re on a Mac, then I don’t know how to check which processes are “eating up” the most RAM because I’ve never had a Mac). That helps for me.

Thanks, that helped ;). Once, it happened and I couldn’t edit for more than a day, even closing all programs and the computer didn’t work…
