So, the (former?) territory of Suria is now marked in grey on the OGF:Territories page.
Please, let’s keep it as it is now. Suria plays an important part in many of the neighboring countries’ history and is one of the most powerful countries in Uletha. Also, some of the area is mapped really well, it would be a shame to see it go to waste.

I think these countries are grey for that exact reason. If an experienced mapper came along who wanted to expand on what’s there now then I think that admin could have conversations about handing those territories over to a new owner. They’re grey to prevent someone inexperienced getting their hands on strategically important territories.

@Myrcia is correct - countries are grey because admin intends them for some special purpose. One such “special purpose” is that of preserving excellent mapping by departed users. Another “special purpose” is the recognition of the need for a specific cultural component of the OGF world, that is not currently being fulfilled. Thus Suria can hopefully become, in the future, some kind of OGF-Russian homeland, just as UL137 can perhaps become the OGF-Arab homeland, etc.
