Detailing is the the craziest part of detailing an OGF map for me
Posted by plainoldbread on 12 September 2018 in English.I just started detailing around the borders and my fingers hurt from putting down nodes. Even if I wanted to place like a bunch of towns, it’ll still be a lot of work. Not sure if it’s the same for others, but it really makes my hands tired.

On ID, press space with one hand and guide the mouse with the other to draw a multi-node line. You can develop or smooth it over later on.
Your scale is far too small. Everything needs to be larger.
Not every line and area needs to be exquisitely smooth either; the OSM tile renderer does a pretty good job of smoothing the data out.
It’s much easier to draw some major features and roads first just to get a good bearing and feel of the area.
Most important of all, I’d get a good grip of standard and large scale mapping before I do anything small. It’s good practice for mapping technique and skills and in that way your mapping can be far more ‘productive’ and consistent.

Wait, I’m confused. Why did you make small parts of your country into another country? And also, Kingston has a population of 100k while the neighbourhood of Flatsborough which is the same size of Kingston (even bigger so) has a population of 80.
Also, why does Alligator Road and McCallister both have an airport when they are next to each other?

Yeah but it can gets irritating to get repeated comments. Is there anything else to comment?
I suggest he really needs help in the scale. Try to PM him and teach him to get the correct scale, instead of just commenting.
