I have made a little region in this Commonia called San Marcos, inside of Tintaille region.
Well, Tintaille is not a great region, and there are hardly any cities, so I ask you all to help me creating cities around San Marcos.
I have created San Marcos with the idea of making a “little special region” in Commonia, where the taxes might be lower, there are different laws… You know, like a special region in countries like China (Hong Kong and Macao) and Sweden (Äland islands).

Just a note: it sounds weird you say Help on colon izing Taitalle.
So well, i say special regiosn must be islands or separate land form a country in majority times.

@Jesus Antonio That is the majority of the times; but, as sude mentioned Hong Kong 🇭🇰 is not an island, it is attached to mainland China. So, he can continue with San Marcos. @sude If you change your mind, there is an island region east of Commonia. You could edit there, too.

Also, in Spain we have 2 special regions (Navarre and the Basque Countries) and a special little region (Val d’Aran) which are not islands, but mainland Spain.
A special region does not have to be an island!
@iiEarth Thank you, but I prefer to stay in San Marcos, because I have already started to create cities and stuff, and I like the way I’m doing it.

A few questions:
Are we allowed to edit San Marcos? Can Gillasto and San Marcos share a metropolitan area? Can we assumer Gillasto is the capital of Tintaille?

Tintaille (the settlement) is the regional capital of Tintaille (the region).

I think that San Marcos should be the capital (it’s bigger and built by now). Also, i sliced up Tintaille to smaller provinces and i will be building roads and railways between them (while also building up “my” province - Malage).

Just a side note, if you mean Åland islands by Äland islands. Åland is part of Finland, not Sweden.
