OpenGeofiction
In the wiki it says that most realistic cities are made by making topography first. I tried mapping the city of Waltburg that way. I am quite satisfied with how I did it, although I’m not sure if the scale is good.
I’d like to hear your suggestions and advices.

It looks like a good spot for a small town or village. If you’re hoping to build a large city there, it may be too small, unless you expect it to expand well beyond the mountains.
Whenever you’re unsure about scale, it’s never a bad idea to look at a real life city that resembles what you want to build, and see how much space it takes up, and then sketch out your ideas based on that. Often times I have OSM open in one window and OGF open in another window right next to it, both at the same scale. Makes it very easy to figure out how big things should be and plan accordingly.

I planned to make a city with about 100 000 inhabitants. I’m not sure if it’s too large.
I also have OSM open while doing OGF, but I never thought of zooming them to the same scale. It’s a good idea.
