Just now I went to the OGF site to view the results of some edits I did last night - and found the entire continent of Archanta flooded! Oh no!
I don’t see how I could have done this, since I didn’t edit the coastline at all. Yet I have to consider the possibility that I am somehow responsible. The reason I think that is that in the server version of the map, the entire coastline of my country, Orlenna is missing, while neighboring countries still have their coastlines.
However, I have no idea how that could have happened. I opened my local copy of the area in JOSM, which should be in sync with what I uploaded last night, and the coastline is still there.
On the other hand, the coastline of Commonia is also gone, so maybe someone’s editing in that region caused the problem?
Anyway, I’m sorry if I did this, and will be happy to help repair the damage (though I don’t yet know how).
PS: Shouldn’t Ingerish be one of the language options for this forum? ;-)
Update: actually, I guess the entire coastline of Archanta is gone. When I said the neighboring countries still have their coastlines, I was actually seeing the ocean-facing borders; I’ve defined a border extending beyond my coastline, while my immediate neighbors have not.

I think it’s the site redefining itself through all the changes that’s been made through it’s servers – I’m guessing for I have noticed that myself.
I say check back for a while to see if everything’s back to normal.

Don’t worry, this happens all the time. I’m not exactly sure why this happens, but if you wait for maybe an hour or so everything should return to normal. I highly doubt this was your fault at all, as I’ve edited the coastline a lot and this hasn’t happened to me, and I don’t see why editing anything else would cause this. I’m not the admin, so I wouldn’t know well enough, but I have seen this before.

The coastline is updated all 4 hours (0:00, 4:00, 8:00, 12:00, 16:00, 20:00 middle european time) . Most cases of the flood over a continent is a gap in the coastline, the coastline crosses itself or an island, where the direction of the way is not drawn counterclockwise.
If an admin see, that land is under water, he will analysize and work. But everybody, who has changed the coastline, can see at his edits and make it correct.

There are those headlines again. Noah is at it again. Stop praying for rain World nearly completely inundated. only a few small islands survive to repopulate the lands.
This time it took out all 4 continents leaving most of the small islands only.
PEEPS make sure your WAY direction on coastline wraps around your land in a counter clockwise direction which could appear backwards if you have an inland bay.
