Belphenian Airlines Air Destinations Project/World's Largest Airport/Longest runways

Posted by BelpheniaProject on 26 January 2015 in English (English)

Hello mappers! In the Theocratic People's Kingdom of Belphenia, Belphenian Airlines is on an expansion project by the Belphenian government regarding international air destinations since January 3rd, 2015. Right now, the airliner is serving Reback, Remiville, Shirahoshi and Shadowsnow City, but I am seeking permission from other mappers to expand the airline's international routes to other cities beyond the TPKB.

If you would like to have your city or airport be listed on our map, please let me know.

Around January 29th, 2015, I am planning to renovate the Reback-Duranth International Airport by adding new access roads, terminals, hotels, a welcome center, and parking garages. If completed, the Reback-Duranth International Airport would be the biggest airport, and also has the world's longest runways being 5 miles in length on OpenGeofiction.

You are free to connect to my airports, both in Mahhal and Ardisphere. My countries have "open-skies" agreements with major international organizations. Ardisphere main internationals are Jeongto JTS and Villa Constitución AAK, or the new expansion suburban airport at Nicolás Jameson JAM - southeast suburbs of VC. Mahhalian airports with major international traffic are Jwr Jwraom SIA, Derindonderak ZED and Askendom ASP. Although Tárrases TAR is smaller, it often sees a lot of international traffic, too.

Interesting... I'm not sure about the meaning of "giant planes" or "drone ships," but I kind of assumed that OGF's modern times setting isn't really meant to include sci-fi or fantasy technologies. (?) Maybe the admins could clarify? :-)

I can say that maybe the Belphenian government is testing out new spacecraft in an experimental project, but I just used "giant planes" in reference to the Airbus A380, and speaking of "drone ships", I see there are no mentions of sci-fi or fantasy technologies on OGF. I'm going to revise this entry because there are no mentions about them yet.

We have a list of airports in the wiki. But if you want, take in your list from Latina 1) Cordoba COR, 2) Latina LAT and 3) Porto Colon PCO

Feel free to use the airport in Slovech (Belgravia) Campo Verde (Brasonia) and Itacolomi (Cariocas). In Cariocas, please consider the bigger airport, in south area, not the one in coastal line, north area.

I would be happy to have you list Safrisco as a destination. When I set up the Paxair destination map a few months ago you offered Shadowsnow City as a destination. Should I update that to something else? If you are looking for aircraft, consider adding some Watanabe W39s or W34s to your fleet!

Though i'm not as far as many others here, you're welcome to add Senford to a list of destinations. As capital of Neberly it will have an international airport.

Hi! You can add Nevitore Brenta International airport, which is the biggest one near Bengonia, capital of Darcodia. Here.

Cool, no need to worry about the A380, it only needs 9,680 ft of runway, though it's good to have some extra length... 2 miles is usually fine. Very few runways are over 2.5 miles and almost none are over 3, unless you're building at high elevation or operating a test facility, and those are usually located in remote areas.

If you'd like more destinations for Belphenia Airways, feel free to fly to the group projects of Khaiwoon and Gobrassanya (there are a bunch of airports there). :-)

Säntjana Anola-Fiore is open for all commercial flights and has a brand-new terminal with underground people-mover, high-speed rail and metro station. Vasireii also has a large airport which can handle the biggest jets. We also manufacture the SAI 210 and 410 regional jets.

Petersburgh International Airport (PSJ) can serve as an overflow airport to Reback-Duranth International Airport. The runways are about 4 KM, mainly because the airport is designed to handle heavy cargo planes.

As you are in SE Uletha, Belphenian can fly to Perseus Regional Airport (PRS) instead of or in addition to Ataraxia International Airport (AXA) to serve Ataraxia City. You can also choose from the larger secondary cities, including Oyonnax, Léopoldville, Fenelec, Ginex, St. Sébastien, Banningstad-St. Éloi, Stanleyville, Élisabethville...

Somewhat related, I should mention that I have added a number of international airports and airlines to Ataraxia International Airport, which anyone can modify to add or delete if they see fit:
