As Nordurland is quite vast and many parts of the country are unvisited by me for long times, I quite regularly find guerrilla mappings from new OFG members. Most of them are useless, some of them are really funny (but not useful in any way), but some very few stand out. This city for example. I’ve decided to keep it (even if I will rename it to a more Icelandic sounding name) as it is a quite complete, decent sketch of a city.
Did you ever stumbled upon guerrilla mappings that you found worthy enough to assimilate?

Nordurland sort of looks unowned to newcomers since the entire country was included in 1 relation at some point, causing the country name to not display over all parts? At least that was why I accidentally mapped in Nordurland while new…

I’m stunned this guy only got a temporary block and not a permanent one.

Actually the core grids of several cities in the Ardisphere were placed by vandals and/or already were there when I took over the territory. I integrated them into my mapping such that it’s not anymore possible to tell where the other user’s work stops and mine begins. The Most notable example is the city of Cabo in the Ardisphere, the easternmost part of which was created prior my acquiring the territory in February, 2014, and the central part of which was added by some vandal. Frankly, it’s pretty crappy mapping - someday perhaps I’ll try to fix it. Or delete it.

I only noticed this little Island when Isleno added maritime boundaries several years ago. https://opengeofiction.net/#map=13/33.4240/147.3371 It added to Orinoco’s area so I left it.
