I would have to guess around 7,500 given the current mapping. I often run into similar problems, where I create a town that is either too developed or too undeveloped for the population I wanted.

Without knowing density I’d guess 3,000-4,500.
I love the borders, they feel very realistic to me. I could see this being the county seat of a small-to-medium sized county. The high school is quite nice.
Also, a hardware/do-it-yourself store named “Good Luck”, lol.

I think 7,500 sounds like a good estimate. Sterling’s population is around 14,000, and Bauermont seems a good amount smaller then that.
