OK so after I had my mapping moved from Commonia over to my own territory I am now starting to fix some of the old mapping issues. I am trying to best figure out how to fix this situation in the western part of Prentice County.
I originally mapped this area with US 101 as a coastal North to South route that services this area with a bridge over the Islip River. I also then built a trunk route facility SR 50 (State Road 50) on the north shore of the Islip River to link up Riegerston to the coast with a bridge over the Islip River close to US 101.
Now the issue is this. This would seem to be an expensive venture with an unneeded crossing so close to the other crossing. Also CR 493 (County Road 493) would now seem to overloaded with traffic. CR 493 serves a built up area with upscale homes and shopping areas. This as mapped is the only current way to get to Danica Beach. I think I originally intended to give service to Holloway Beach but ended up mapping Danica Beach as a resort area that would seem to have more folks traversing.
I see a couple of options here. Should i just remap SR 50 to serve the north shore and chalk this up to a mapping error? Should I close off the US 101 bridge and make it a fishing pier and then link a new alignment over to the SR 50 bridge?

I think that the money spent on the SR50 bridge would have probably gone to upgrading the US101 bridge instead (why is SR50 motoway class for 3km only when it appears to a surface arterial the rest of the way to Reigerston anyway)
SR50 should connect to US101 on the north side of the Islip (probably about where Intermina Beach Road currently intersects)
CR4994 is probably enough to deal with the traffic in and out of Danica Cove, assuming there’s only about 1-2.5 thousand (at most, assuming US population densities for that sort of development pattern) people in the town. Maybe it could be ‘upgraded’ to a 3-lane (2+1, switching sides) or 4-lane (2+2), but since there’s not ‘lanes=’ tag on the road i don’t know whether or not that is already the case.

Thanks for the suggestions. I mapped this out when I first started with OGF and that is why there are so many issues with it. I am not sure what the entire motive at the time was with the motorway designation unless I intended to have an interchange prior to the bridge. I know I did not want a motorway going from Reigerston to Danica Cove.

Another thing to note is that you shouldn’t use capitals for the names of roads and other features- it should be lower case like everything else. Looking at it right now, it does make sense for a trunk road to service between Waycrest and the south trunk road.

One question: why is this country named United States of Archanta? Isn’t there a better name?

@MrOobling The capitals were used when I started mapping in OGF and the content was all in Commonia. The content was moved out of Commonia and I have started using mixed casing.
@zhenkag I saw that the name wasn’t used.
I am still evaluating the area to best fix it and will update it soon.
