Hi, I have to say, there are no roads in your town/city/village, so I reccomend adding some streets and roads. It also seems your city is abandoned, because there are no roads to other village. Ask a question to yourself: Who would live at place, from which you can not get anywhere else? So I reccomend you to make network of roads from your town to be accessable from other places in Commonia. It doesn't mind if your town has got access to sea, but this doesn't happen. If you'll look even on deserts or rainforests, there are always roads from villages to other villages, even if the place is really inhabitable.

If you want to know how many days passed since you joined OpenGeofiction, look at your profile. Currently, only one day passed, because you joined yesterday. You can see date of joining under "Edits" and "Map Notes" links.

If you want to ask for a territory, wait until 5th September 2018 or longer, and then you can obtain a territory by asking admin.

Good luck in your future mapping.

Best regards, Arisuaq.

I agree you need roads, but I like the fact that you started with small details. Too many newbies start with highways and large city grids. Starting with details is more preferable, that's how communities mostly evolve in real life.

However, I recommend you add some natural features like rivers, lakes or mountains nearby your settlement to make the area more exiting – it is difficult to add them later in a realistic way.

Don't hesitate to ask for advice if you need some.

Happy mapping! :)

The location of your city is peculiar, and it doesn't have any natural features nearby to help it out. So I would suggest adding a natural feature, be it a river, a lake (of a realistic size), or a mountain.
I would also suggest changing some of the pedestrian roads from areas into lines, then connect it to others, like Arisuaq said.

Thanks,
Zekiel

It's really good that you took the time to make all those extra details, rather than making your city large but empty. I can tell that with time, you'll do really well.

Like everyone here has pointed out, your city would greatly benefit from connections to and from it, and some natural features could help.

I like how you started with the small details, though.
