Extreme Motorwaying:
Map hundreds of miles of motorways without any curve. If two motorways meet, just build the new one across the new one. Forget about level-free-junctions, they only waste valueable motorway-mapping-time.
Powerwikiing:
Invent a supranational organization no one needs but everyone must be member of. Place the headquarter in an unmapped corner of your territory, and be prepared to be celebrated by the hoi polloi.
Prophetical Announcing:
Announce something massive. Create a gigantic wiki page with mostly headings, stubs and blindtext. But most importantly: Don’t forget to amplify your intentions by putting “Coming soon…” everywhere. And then, while everyone eagerly waits for the messiah, completely abandon this project and start the next one.

Not to forget Speed Rule Breaking, where competitors race to map as much as they can in the UNDER CONSTRUCTION territories before getting hit with something by the admins.

To give some actual on-topic input, there is only one OGF-only sport I know of, and that’s Ardisphere’s aldepaloti, but it looks like there is no background or rules yet. The rest is kind of the same, although some sports have different rules and setups, and then there are some rare real world sports and sports that are not considered “sports” in the real world. Maybe someone else knows more OGF-original sports, I don’t remember any that I could refer to just now.

Well velomobile racing is not very big in the real world although it is pretty popular in OGF

@PortCal beat me to it. I have had the idea for Aldepaloti for a long time (from when Ardisphere didn’t exist in OGF but in an earlier, off-line incarnation), but as pointed out, I haven’t developed it yet. It’s meant to be a bit of a cross between lacrosse and those pre-Columbian Mayan and Aztec “ball games” (ollamaliztli). The modern version is adapted to be played on a cricket pitch (since that’s another popular Ardispherian sport). I imagine it has a single goal, and the teams alternate scoring points - there is no conversion process so the defensive team’s objective is to force the offence out of bounds.

Had to chuckle a bit at Toadwart’s thoroughly tongue-in-cheek reply.
In all seriousness… I haven’t invented any new sports. I have put a lot of billiards halls in various towns and villages across Rhododactylia so the mapping supports billiards being a major sport there. I have also put in at least a few roller rinks and bowling alleys, as well as a couple of (indoor) aquatics centers (swimming pools).
Is aldepaloti meant to be strictly Ardispherean or might it have a bit more global appeal?

@Toadwart Lol. That really happens much. You forgot to include Overwikification: Happily over writing abt your country and copying from wikipedia till you realised the rules for the wiki, then get your wiki account blocked. Well anyway this a serious matter so Please dont do this.
Let’s be serious. In my country Singkangia (a by-product of overwikification), there is a hydrid sport called poison football, basically like football with an extra ball to avoid. This is a general idea, but after i got my wiki account back i will take more abt it. (Which will be until the end of this year or just next month, i hope, after mapping in my country for a while)

Railway drifting: build curves of 100m radius or less, with sections joining at 100° angles, and be entertained as top drivers powerslide TGVs and ¼ mile oil consists around them. The finish line is at a Picasso-inspired central station with 130 platforms of 50m length, none of which are quite parallel, and which are all joined to the mainline at a single node. Naturally, it is the largest in the world.
