I just feel like this is pretty important for the security of all users. C’est tout.
Though, why is the certificate issued on March 30, yet the implementation is so late?

I am going to send a message to the admins to congratulate the upgrading the security of this site. I actually thought of sending a message a few months earlier to upgrade, but it slipped my mind.

I think it took quite long as making it secure is not easy, and it also cost some money and time to install.

The secure version of OGF is making the iD interface glitchy; the nodes/ways do not match the map behind, the font on the left editing box has shrunk and looks shifted and I cannot pan the camera during editing.
Are these issue only happening to me and does anyone know how one solves these issues?

No it doesn’t cost money: The certificate is issued by Let’s Encrypt and it’s free. Maybe it took time though.
I personally prefer Cloudflare (Since I don’t have shell access to run Certbot, also anti ddos).
