This problem has having me troubled for long: When I search my city’s name, why does it show a tertiary road called Calle Orós instead of my city? Whenever I want to know how to get to my city to, suppose, Katsnelson or Dolala, I have to always search up from Blaan instead of my city, which isn’t that accurate in the sense of time.
Hopefully someone knows why…

Nominatum is still down and un-updated, and the technical guy for that just came briefly into OGF. The system is now in shambles; even some old locations cannot be found for some reason.

I believe Turnsole80 is learning how the system works so that he can update it. He’s as fed up with it as the rest of us.

FYI martinum4 has been in contact with admin during the past two weeks… says he has rented a new server which hopefully will help him automate the Nominatim and Routing updates.

@isleno thanks for telling us about the behind the sences.
I thought maybe we should also have a technical team on this nominatum, so that it will be maintained and updated even if the automated server is down (touch wood), or martinum4 is not available to help.
