Hi everyone,

For my octobre challenge I focused on an Island here. This Island is located in the Midi archipelago which is a very touristic area.

I concentrated my mapping on land use, coast line and details in the some villages. I am quite pleased with the result even if some things could be way better.

Unfortunaltly, october was not long enough for me to finish this project. I will try to complete it as soon as i can.

Hi mappers,

For my may mappers challenge, i decided to detail central Troie. Mapping speaking, i am still in may. Here

I focused on the old city and a northern/central district and some parks.

I wanted this city to have

*a complex geography and topography. I didn’t want to make a “flat city” with a linear coast.

*a not rationnal city and not perfect city,

*a rich historical and cultural background. I hope a part of the city history can be read on the map.

As a port, Troie has many foreigners communities. So if you want to open a consulate and/or a cultural center in Troie, just contact me. If you want to include a community from your country in the history of Troie, contact me, we’ll define a neighborhood and some historical background.

I am going on the mapping process of two cites :

Belleville (http://opengeofiction.net/#map=13/-17.5823/20.7416) where i redesigned the southern and eastern district to make it more realistic. The city also has a metro network of 4 lines. When finished it should be a 1 million inhabitants city.

Troie (http://opengeofiction.net/#map=13/-17.8392/21.4234) now has an international airport and a new harbor. I try to keep the topography realistic which is the hardest ! The mapping of the two there cities in the Troie metropolitan area should start soon (Charleville and Sansévérina).

Each city has now its wiki page which i’ll try to complete.

Hi, The city of Troie, the oldest city of my country, is under mapping construction. It’s located on a cape with a natural harbour. It’s a city with hills and beatches.
