Renovating the old train station

Posted by tule00 on 12 November 2018 in English (English)

Hello everyone,

In my city of Igwepir I decided to renovate the old rail terminal. I would like to get some feedback on whether it's going well. Read more about it on the forum thread.

Every criticism is welcome. Both about geography and history, and also technicalities.

Best regards

It looks great. It has the tag construction=yes, but your terminals should also be in construction=yes as the platform will be open to nothing. In conclusion, ether is almost no mistake here, good job!

Check the radius of each curve (should be >a few hundred meters at railroad lines and >100 m in switches), and the length/angle of each switch (30 ... 40... 50 m and more and angles <10 degrees). If they are two small/tight it looks like a model railroad.

One thing I can suggest that the station can be a terminus for a tourist rail line. Not really for public but for tourists to understand the development of rail transport. Maybe also a museum nearby to show case the development of rails?
