Because empires tend to take in adjacent territories and collaboration in OGF doesn’t always happen like that, it is rather difficult to develop this history. Perhaps you might find something in the world history portal. You could look at some of it in language terms, and try and collaborate with other users who are mapping in similar languages. But ancient empires may have been entirely expunged from some parts of the map, even if traces remain in some countries (for example there are tribal reservations for kshang tribes (and hsru tribes) in Rhododactylia, not far away (the histories of these tribes haven’t been clearly defined; you might be able to incorporate them somehow - message me and Luciano). For more modern empires the timelines of Castellanese and Ingerish colonial history might be helpful - you’ll have seen these already.
