So, I just saw this interesting video on clichés from countries around the world and thought “Hey, what would it be like here in the OGF world?”
So, I’m here to ask people to create a cliché from their OGF country that may or may not be true! Feel free to add it to the comments. I can’t wait to see what you guys create!
Here’s an example:
Leresso (my country): We drink a lot of wine (true, kind of).

I was about to ask about sterotypes in the OGF world, but I thought I will be spamming the user diaries, so I never post!
Let’s see, Katayans will think the FS people are capitalist sh*ts while Commonians are downright poor yet violent. Well, it does not help when Kanglapo is a communist country with some incidencies regarding Commonian gang fights. (Maybe they find it hard to stay).
I feel if it is safer to talk about blue nations and your own fictional race/ethnicity in general. I dont really want any personal attacks on other nations (such as Khaiwoon) and RW races.

Another one from Skalenia: Eating waffles every Saturday morning. National Waffle Day is on the 32nd Saturday of the year (usually in mid-August). Ceilidh Day is on the 4th Wednesday of June.

Esthyra: Everyone is a wood fairy.
We legit poisoned Ingerish explorers with some good herbs, which prevented us from any other colonizing attempts. Plus Esthyra still preserves large areas of forests, and people like to hang out in them, so that’s what happens to be the stereotype. I know it sounds unrealistic.

Garzibania, Everyone is angry in the work but happy in free time, Everyone likes watermelon and coconuts, They work half of their day and the other half is free time. They are very bad at chess. Thats a garzibani stereotype and like half i said was just false

Eltenesse: Eltenis tend to get a lot angrier than the average person, which in turn affects our daily lives, with driving and work and everything else! Which was proven to be true by a study in 2007!
another stereotype is that we are nomads, and like to move around a lot. which, i guess can be interpreted as true.

Just to add on, Katayans are perceived to be quite vain yet extremely patriotic and also, ironically, racist towards other races, due to its strong nationalism.

Hmm, I guess some stereotypes for Capitalia is that everyone is patriotic, loves money, is rude and stoic, and loves to work.

Belphenia: Almost everyone are members of Great Heart, they love driving motor vehicles and travel to different cities on long-distance road trips.

Bélice: Béliciens are yetis with electric vehicles. Our country actually banned gasoline vehicles (A weird thing to do) and there is always a mountain within 10 kilometers of you, no matter where you are in the nation, except Ascan. Béliciens love to go to the beaches or take hikes on the mountains after school/work.
The bad side is that Béliciens on the mainland tend to be meaner to the Islanders (Isle of Dèrian) and vice versa. That is simply because of historic things.
