Hi everyone! I seem to be in the same situation that CaboAzul is in: I am awaiting my territory request decision, and am wondering if anyone has any feedback about my previous city, Bluevista, in case I ever get back to it, and if anyone is willing to collaborate on it.

In feedback, there are already some things implicated by myself way back when, when I was a lousier editor, that I already know of and don’t really want to be brought up:

*Several areas in a long corridor where I was first editing, including Downtown, Candlewick City, and Paseo Hills, are very poorly mapped and way out of scale.

*Some of my divided highways have lanes waaaaaay too close together.

*And finally, exit ramps and such seem to be totally different in scale from each other.

In the collaboration front, anyone is willing to work on Bluevista if they want. Just tell me in the comment section and please follow these guidelines: the streets are similar to Los Angeles (use this as an example), the topography to Vancouver, the climate to Florida, and the history to Portland. Please also take care in smoothing the corners and no more motorways.

So I’m back, and my first order of business is to more or less finish Vertbourne so I can get my dream territory. However, I need some advice and/or help in developing my village.

What in Vertbourne needs improving? How should I go about doing this? How can I make Vertbourne as realistic as possible so admin don’t reject my territory request for the umpteenth time?

Also, is anyone willing to help me work on Vertbourne? A little bit of assistance would be greatly appreciated.

When I finally do get a territory to start mapping in, I think I’d like to have a country geographically like Tuvalu. You know, small and isolated.

But what I want to know is, how would you make an atoll in OGF?

Just a question to the Admins and OGF community: Is it okay if I add some Islands off of the coast of Arcacadiana? Just asking before the great flood happens and everyone gets mad…

So revisiting my old project, I found something that I didn’t like to see. In-spite of me calling off the Mostock Metro Project, I found it somewhat disturbing that Hwy 3073 was removed from Turnpike 98 to Mostock Freeway (Now former 3073 – into Slavutych). 3073 was the one thing that defined the grid of Mostock, a city built off of 3073, Hwy 999 was meant to act as an inner city freeway, and Hwy 76N was going to serve the northern suburbs until the project was canceled. If I have to I will return to Commonia to restore the history of Mostock and Slavutych that has been deleted and/or referenced. This was also notated as the Hybrid Springs area in Watamak. I also noticed that much of the was going to be neighborhood of Kremastre’s road network was also deleted (At the time of cancellation, 3 roads.) If it concerns me most was that the gap that now has to fill 3073’s spot, but keep in mind for whoever is going through removing most of what defined Mostock, That 3073 was the start. It is obvious in Mostock alone that the grid was built around 3073. There was also going to be suburbs north of the lake which would have made the Mostock City area larger than what it actually became. Slavutych was to be meant as smaller suburb but eventually became a city with-in it’s own. For further reference, please message me if you’re the one “Cleaning Up” the area before you remove something that has history to it… no hate, but thank you in advance.

My WIP Town , [Weirbrush] (https://opengeofiction.net/#map=15/-22.9206/18.3237) , was inspired from Childress, TX , USA because of the rail going through the center town . I Haven’t done much landscape (WIP) . I Haven’t got a town density for the eastern central perugi . Do I Need to shrink the airport? Do I Need to curve the river? Is There too little meadow? - Answer how you wish and add anything else. I totally forgot about wiki too .

All my edits are visible pretty fast, thank you. But updates I did to ‘my’ (part of) the coastline do not show at all, even those I did over a week ago. As I know the process of updating the coastline is separate from the main update process: is something the matter there ?

edit: Topo map does update, Histor-style does update. Only the ‘standard’ view does not. Wot ?

Hi everyone. Where I live, school started back at the beginning of February. It’s going to be a busy year, so after nearly a year on OGF, I turned in my territory.

I thank you all for your help, feedback and advice.

However, I still enjoy mapping, so do reach out (through DM) if you would like to collaborate on something. Bear in mind that I may not be available all the time.

Also, I have good skills with Photoshop so if you need images edited to suit your countries, let me know. I especially love creating road signs if you need those too.

is there any way to handily determine the area of a country/territory in OGF? I’ve found size comparison and distance calculator pages/apps, but nothing to get an estimate of area? Any ideas?

I just added a ton of counties yesterday, but only the original 3’s names show up (Riverbend, Varode Lake, Tchullathinak Counties). I have compared the relations and everything seems the same… is something off with the renderer, or am I doing something wrong?

I’m returning to the OGF community. I’m hoping to get back by former country of Mariana (UL212). I do have some new ideas for the country, and want to have diplomatic times with other countries/more activity.

What does the peopling of the OGF World look like? where were the earliest Human settlements? When was Uletha populated with Humans? Archanta? e.c.t

edit. I presume that Archanta is similar to the Americas and was settled much later, it was just an example, i was wanting background of all the continents to figure out the broader picture of how the ogf world was settled.

So, the track in Tchullathinak is not showing up.

Or at least, the actual highway=raceway name=Teenesccan Motorspeedway tagged ways aren’t.

Context:will not show up with either oneway=yes, oneway=unset, or oneway=no. Mapped about a week ago.

A blue nation in the FSA would be great for new mappers who come from the United States to map out their cities before they get a nation. It would make the cancerous mapping go to someplace more suitable for it. It is a great place to start mapping if someone loves to place highways everywhere. Plus it would be more realistic considering the FSA is the OGF equivalent of the United States.
