Anyways, this is a question geared toward those REALLY talented with computers: If I wanted to somehow type my writing system, how could I create the glyphs to do so? I think this is something that could very much help move my country along!

I tried to look at the overview map and I got a message saying “Error:FORBIDDEN” from the site. The map would not load, and the message would not go away. Help!

Hmm. So, as I was looking through Commonia, I revisited a site of one of my planned projects, Cape Alhano, and found that it was overrun with a messy, unrealistic grid system. After doing more digging, I found these messy grid cities littering the Tarrion coast, even near Coast City. What should we do with them?

Hey OGF World!

So, I just saw this interesting video on clichés from countries around the world and thought “Hey, what would it be like here in the OGF world?”

So, I’m here to ask people to create a cliché from their OGF country that may or may not be true! Feel free to add it to the comments. I can’t wait to see what you guys create!

Here’s an example:

Leresso (my country): We drink a lot of wine (true, kind of).

I feel quite stuck. A little overwhelmed. A lot, actually. I unfortunately feel as though I have lost my fiery passion for mapping that once blazed prominently. I’ve found myself looking at the map of this world more than contributing to it. I feel like JOSM is too scary for me to use (i’m on a macbook), and that the iD editor only permits minimal detail. I’m bad with graphic design. I feel as though there is too much work involved to make Leresso a realistic-looking country. I don’t want to give it up, as I have come so far. But maybe giving it up is exactly what I need to get the fire going again. I just thought I would share this with the community of talented mappers to get advice as to where I should go. Any and all advice is welcome.

My question for everyone is how you guys go about making detailed mountain ranges (landuse layers to make it look realistic, number of nodes, node placement, etc.). I really hope you can all help. Just trying to figure out what to do with my city. I’m stuck. Here are a few things I’m trying to figure out?

• how do I make it look more realistic?
• does the layout make sense?
• where should I put public transportation (airport, subway, trains, etc.)?
• how do I make the terrain more realistic?

I would really appreciate some feedback on the airport I’m trying to detail (found here). I’m trying to figure out if I am missing any vital airport buildings, details, etc. ANY FEEDBACK IS APPRECIATED!!!! So, everyone seems to be doing a whole bunch of challenges, so I thought I would start one of my own: The Coffee Shop!

Typically, coffee shops are places where people come together and share things with each other, so that is what I am going for on this project. Every week, there will be a new challenge. This will be posted every Monday or Tuesday. Challenges may range from a wikipage to a mapping challenge, so grab your thinking caps!
