There are a few free-trade agreements such as the Gobras Peninsula Free Trade Agreement. However, can there be a List of Free Trade Agreements, so countries can participate to improve their economy?

The recent discussion on martinum4’s diary entry regarding whether the rules of OSM should be used on OGF with the same emphasis and the fact that a lot of things done by me in my country, Neo Delta, for almost 2 years now, have never followed those rules, kept me thinking about my place in this community. I am an international relations analyst and, as much as I’m interested in urban geography, urban planning and projects such as OSM, I’m not familiar with any of those areas. I’d love to have time to study and explore those fields, but, unfortunately, I’m unable to do so at the moment. I know opinions regarding this issue vary, as Luciano and other users commented, but I can’t stop thinking about the fact that I lack the basic knowledge that is needed to be a member of OGF and that really bothers me. As joschi81 mentioned, this might not be the best place for those not interested in the GIS aspect of OSM/OGF. I even struggle to work with simple aspects, such as using relations and mapping through JOSM. So, as far as I’m concern, the bottom line is: I don’t want to be a member whose work is seen as problematic. The actual technology of mapping is not my main focus on OGF and I’m much more interested in the fictional politics, international and cultural affairs, and human involvement of the members and their fictional countries. Should I be editing a country on OGF?

• considerably advanced

Same goes for “best on the continent,” region, etc. Thanks for understanding.

Hi mappers!

It has been a long time since my last (and only -_-‘ eheh) diary.

Durign the last three months, in a realy slow pace (because I got into University this year), I worked in three main projects: Nelyto City, Ordyo/Puntick Metropolis and Yuris International Relations.

Nelyto City project is now paused. Nelyto was basicly my experience site. It was my first city, and it was created only with iD, so it has some problems with scale and coastline detailing that I will fix in the future.

Puntick and Ordyo: History

Now, I started using JOSM and Puntick is the “construction site”… Puntick is the old sister of the Yurin capital, Ordyo City. It is located in Girotera Peninsula facing Hallgarve Sea and the Narrow of Ickarion. The first written record wich refers Puntick goes back to 750 a.C. and since then the region has been inhabited. It was the capital city of the region where Yuris is nowadays (in the 14th and 15th centuries, the entire region was occupied by a kingdom called Hallgarv) from 1333 to 1462.

Ordyo City, in the other hand, is one of the most recent world cities. Its construction was proposed by Lenz B. Albano Government in 1957 and was approved in referendum. The idea behind the Ordyo City construction was to “rebuild” the old city of Nodoyeh, the first capital of Yuris that was destroyed in the 14th century by the Hallgarv Kingdom. Since its destruction there were several attempts to rebuild Nodoyeh. However, the ideia of restoring the old Yuris Kingdom glory remained in people’s mind. In the 20th century, when utopian/distopian cultural movements appeared in Yuris, the idea became even more desired. When Puntick started to have urban and social problems, it became imperative to find a solution. President Lenz B. Albano sugested the construction of Ordyo in 1957, the “dream became true” in 1962 and a new capital city was born.

Hello. I have been on OGF for only a few weeks, and I am having trouble with creating detailed coastlines. I find it very annoying that you have to zoom so close in to edit. Any tips?

After months of work the region of Edetanea begins to resemble the idea that I have in mind. In the coming weeks I will map more details of the small towns, especially Pujo and Maternea, since Pucena is practically concluded. When I finish these regions, I have doubts as to whether undertake the task of detailing the maritime neighborhoods of Edetanea or developing the region of Cubenea del Lago and Iliana.

Between May and June I will finish detailing the Sierra Espadanea and I will create the Sierra de Cuerna, as well as the rivers that depend on these. With this, I will have completed the physical structure of the Edetanea Region. According to this rhythm of work I calculate that I can finish Castilea Archanta with a level of detail according to the region that I am currently completing in the year 2073 …

I have been working on the Midistland Canal today. I would like for it to be a canal similar to Panama. Midistland is in a strategic part of Uletha and I would like to emphasize that with a large shipping canal through the country. There is already a large lake in place in Midistland to support such a canal. I would like to add service roads, rails, locks, and small and large cities to support the canal. Everyone is welcome to get involved.

Hey everyone, after visiting some countrys i’ve noticed that a lot of people misuse tags to make it look better rendered. The most common one i’ve encountered was the misuse of the name tag (in general), but in particular railway-related. Writing the name of the lines served at a specific station in there makes it a lot harder to change lines, also that’s not really what that tag is intended for.

I would love it if more people would use OSM as an example and start using relations for lines, IMHO it’s a lot easier, but maybe someone needs to copy the OSM Transport layer for that to happen, as we know that the mapping features are only used if they are rendered somewhere…

On a related note, start using railway=halt more, here in Germany every railway=station that doesn’t have a switch is considered an halt, in OGF one should check placed stations if railway=halt wouldn’t be a better fitting alternative.

I am a fairly new user and would like some help with my last city before Tuesday, when I get my own land (That I might turn into a collab.) Anyway, feel free to help Kuaku City of Lonowai District. Thanks! ~Kai

After @eklas ‘ diary entry, i created a page titled “Slevic” for all the Slevic languages to put on as a family. There is just one problem. The name Syrillangan (i am repeating eklas’ words) does not sound normal to the Syrillangan person. However, the other names propsed sound too similar to “Slavs” or “Slavic”.

There is a problem in this because we need to come up with a name that makes sense, isnt biased on Russian spelling, and sounds normal to the Syrillangan person.

Please i would just like to say:

There are multiple linguistic, cultural, religious and mentality differences between West and East Slavs, please do NEVER CATEGORIZE US AS ONE BIG GROUP OF THE SAME PEOPLE. It annoys the hell out of me, and i wanted to emphasize that we are not the same as the Russians. We have different ways of doing things. Including spelling.

I was working in Kirchenburg’s city branding. I think what i love the most about OGF is the oportunity to design for so many different fictional brands and business. I really enjoy it, more than mapping i think haha. I’m thinking about placing a design studio in Kirchenburg which is the one that makes all the design stuff in Welstand-Westrijk. Thinking about calling it Plotter studio. Is not said in Kirchenburg’s wiki page, but the otter is the symbol of the city. It’s on the coat of arms of the city, and the citizens are commonly known as otters. So Plotter studio can be a great name. They’ve made the Brutto supermarket logo too haha.
