I’ve been working mainly on paper, like tracing maps, writing ideas and stuff like that. Also I don’t have too many time, so updating Aŭstrasuno Tero will take some time and I’m considering little changes and adjusting things. I’ve been looking for a grid background for JOSM, but I think there isn’t any.

Anyway, here is a Harda Archipelago blank map, for all the needs of this area of Antarephia. Soon I’m going to do one with borders also.
Hello mappers. I have many questions about this fictional-realistic world, and it is there are many basic data that are lost in the wiki or not defined at all. I suggest to create pages in OGF Wiki trying to explain many basic aspects of the OGF Planet (from here, OGFp). Anywhere, here are some of those questions:
Where are the OGFp? In a solar system like ours or in another with other design?
What is the size of the OGFp? The same as Earth?
In consequence, are the physical characteristics of the OGFp different from the Earth?
What is the name of the OGFp?
Do the OGFp have natural satellites?
How many oceans and continents are in the OGFp?
How the landmasses in the OGFp fit in the tectonic plates theory?
How different are the geophysics in the OGFp?
Is there any geological history for the OGFp?
When did the life surged? Does it follows any evolutive theory?
Are we assuming that the habitants of the OGFp are humans or another kind of species?
In any case, where did this intelligent species/OGF-humans appeared by first time?
Where is the highest point over the sea level?
Where is the lowest point over the sea level?
Where is the deepest point in the ocean under the sea level?
What is the biggest ocean and continent?
Where are the northernmost and southernmost points of land? And the easternmost and westernmost?
What are in the north and south poles?
Where are the most hottest and coldest places and by how much?
What is the longest river?
What is the biggest dessert? Are other biomes also measured?
What is the biggest lake or inland sea?
What is the biggest island?
What is the biggest glacer?
Where are the most remote point of the OGFp?
What is the most populated country and city?
Hello and Happy New Year 2017!
It has been one year since I got my own territory to edit. After one year the results of more than 300 editions are visible, and the differences are completely notorious.
I have made a blank map of the Great Sothern Island. Part of the Harda Archipelago, is the island where Semer Republic and Aŭstrasuno Tero are.
I made it first downloading all the coastline data from OGF in JOSM, there was a need to filer it using the search options in JOSM (natural=coastline selected). All those filtered data, which should be the coastline and the administrative borders, where copied and pasted in the same position into a new layer in JOSM, then I exported it to a .gpx file. Using the aplication gpx2svg I converted the .gpx file to a .svg one. Once converted, I used Inkscape to read the .svg and then exporting the final draw to a .png file. This was made using Linux, I don’t know if there is a way to do it in Windows or Mac, but there should be (if not, try Linux, it is free :D !).
This is a blank map, it is an example of how to get blank maps easily.
I think I have flooded the Great Southern Island. What should I do? How can I fix it?
Have the rendering in OGF changed?
The colors are more stronger, there are primary and motorways roads in green and blue. And the bare rock is now green.

I’ve been making some little edits around Austraĉerfubo, and the most notorious one is this:
Airport name is Eksilita Kompasso Internacia Flughaveno (Compass of the Exiles International Airport) and it is compossed by two runways of 3km, 3 main terminals, comunication with the raiway within a station and a special area for cargo flights, with another two runways of 1.5 km. The main goal of this airport is to become one of the most important (or the most important) airport in South Harda Archipelago and the main one for the aereal comunications in Aŭstrasuno Tero.
I’m open to feedback, and I really need it. Also, I’m looking for a guide of how to map metro, massive transport, and public transport routes, anyone out there?
Hello there. I’ve been not editing so much since I got so much problems with JOSM, principally with the conection, read time out, problems with the plugin, etc… This have made my editing more slow than I would like and I can. I’m waiting for the release of Linux Mint 18 KDE, hoping that a fresh and clean install of the OS could repair the problem with JOSM. I wanted to work with a topo map, with Aŭstrasuno Tero first, then the whole Great Southern Island (after agreeing and discussing with thermo_nuclear about Semer Republic, of course). But, then I got this problem with JOSM and I cannot keep editing the coastline, islands and another bigger physical features.
By the way, I may be working with the wiki info, wich doesn’t involve some much edition and is something pending.
I’ve not editing so much since… uhmm… I really don’t know. I updated JOSM, and proably that fixed some problems with OGF editing. Sincerelly I don’t like Potlatch2 (where is the scale rule in that app?). And also I edited the OGF Wiki.
I’ve been updating the coastline of Aŭstrasuno Tero, principally in Malvarma Rokoj, were I created a strange and weird geography. I like it too much: islands, islands, islets… and more islands with a sharp and broken coastlines.
By the way, is OGF in social networks like Twitter, Facebook, Reditt or Tumblr?
Hi there, I’m still alive. I’ve been ill recently, so I’ve been not editing so much recently. I hope to continue mapping soon.
I’ve been recently editing more. The capital city, Aŭstraĉerfubo, is still in developing and I have new ideas around another cities like Delta Insulo and Hesperico Marborda, and another new ideas around the geography, inspired in the comments of the last diary entry. So now it is time for a new diary entry, still focusing in natural geography, but now trying to figure out some more human aspects.
Lets start with the actual state of editions:
It may left so many things, such as an airport, the industrial areas and ports. From now I announce that the ferry routes are open from the capital to another cities at the other side of the strait.
Before continuing, there are many aspects to solve about the island:
I’ve been recently busy with university. But I took small amounts of time to work in Aŭstrasuno Tero. Recently I’ve been updating the map, with the basic road network and the development of the capital, Aŭstraĉerfubo -South Capital, in english-. By the general geography of the country, I’ve made some new maps over the blank one showed in the previous diary entry.
The first map is about biome and mountains. Mountains are marked as puncted line. At the north, in dark green, the temperate forest, an area of dense forests and wet weather caused because the warm oceanic current. At the center south, in light green, the taiga. In brown the tundra and in blue high mountain glaciers.
It lefts many work on the physical geography, such as rivers and a better height map, but it is on the way.
So, I have not made too much editions recently, I’ve been some busy lately. I hope to make more editions, design the capital city, soon.

Hi there. I’m still working on Aŭstrasuno Tero. I’ve been modifying the coastline, but OGF lasts too much in update it. Also I had many problems on it, principally with JOSM, which wasn’t updated. I recently updated now. In other hand, there are some glaciers and rivers on the territory. It may look somekind of odd, but its because the coastline isn’t updated.
About the language, I have decided to take two languages for the nation: Mahhalian in the north peninsula and Esperanto (“Esperintish”, trying to figure out in OGF) in the south peninsula. In the middle there should be an status quo between both language, just as happens with spanish and catalan. Not sure if maybe will derive into political troubles, but it is just too early for say that.
It is all for now. I’m still working in new maps.
Hi again. I’ve been working on the planning of the geography in AN150k. But first, I’ve been decided a name: Aŭstrasuno Tero. Which means Land of the south sun in esperanto. The country will be esperanto-based, which it could be an isolated languaje for the OGF universe -or I don’t know if there is another one which is using this idea-.
Hi there. I got a territory to edit, AN150k. It is located at the south of Antarephia, its territory is the middle of an Island and my only Neighbourg is Mahhal. Its climate is cold and it is pretty small.
I guess I should look at real islands like Iceland, New Zeland or Malvinas (Falklands) to get an idea of how it should be.
By another point, how did you get inspiration to name your territories?
