It is a great pleasure to speak with you again. As everyone surely knows, more than 1 month ago I launched the first “Mapping challenge”, which proposed to users to start developing natural mapping, to start developing our mapping in a realistic and orderly manner. Because we must continue the challenge, I plan to set the limit on June 2, 2020. Please add your natural mapping examples below and a contest will be held to determine the “Best mapping of the challenge”.

After having completed the previous challenge, I am thinking of developing a new one (whose theme I have not yet defined), for which, on this occasion, I ask you to reach a consensus for one:

1. Large-scale mapping of cities (urban streets, main roads, important buildings, urban parks).
2. Mapping of the railway, transport (land, sea and air) system, in addition to the terminals.
3. High-detail mapping of buildings with a 3D effect.

Hello everyone. It is a great pleasure to greet you and I wish you all the best in the current situation.

Since we all probably have a little more time to map, I was thinking of developing a challenge to further develop natural mapping.

Sometimes when mapping we focus on urban and (I can say rural) aspects, but we forget about natural features, which are essential when mapping. In other cases we only label them without any detail or we use it only as filler.

But natural mapping should be more than that (since it is essential when developing any map), which is why I propose creating a challenge where all users can compete to develop the best natural mapping.

Please stop before we start reading some of the challenge guidelines:

1. Only map natural features in your territory / state / region. Ask your neighbors if it is possible to do combined features (although this option would be a bit more realistic).
2. It is up to you to decide which tag to use for natural characteristics. I recommend that a zonal standard can be established.
3. There is no minimum size to map the natural characteristics, just use your creativity and create something realistic and eye-catching. But it is recommended that it be at least of a medium size, so that it can be appreciated correctly.
4. When you’re done mapping it, please share it with the community, commenting a link below to appreciate its creation.

I leave to the community the decision to choose any other aspect related to the challenge.

Hello to all users.

In the first instance, I want to apologize to the admins for causing a break in the rules and violations of the code of the blue countries.

Second, I wanted to declare that the project is temporarily suspended and that everyone is asked to reverse its editions (and possibly those of the others).

I must declare that I presented this proposal with the sole purpose of switching to Phoenix, and doing a good work for OGF. But, now I have caused a lot of work to the admins and I feel a great discouragement.

For now, I will be working in my territory. I’m not sure it’s coming for me, but I’ll keep a low profile.

It is a great pleasure to greet you all. This time I want to tell you about Phoenix, Mecyna. Since I started mapping in OGF I have seen the blue countries and I notice that there is a lot of incoherence (which is understandable), but something that really worries me is the capital of Mecyna for this reasons:

1. One user (or perhaps several users) created two islands (one artificial? and the other supposedly natural), which look unrealistic in every way and violate the rules of the sea.
2. There are many areas of the city mapped randomly or quickly, which gives it a strange look.
3. An exaggerated network of illogical motorways that seem strange.
4. The airport (which I think has been mapped a long time ago) looks unrealistic and probably violates many ANACA rules.

Although I don’t feel it as a priority, I think that the capitals of the blue countries should serve as an example for the mappers in those countries (like the beautiful example of Gobras City) and that’s why I want to share it with the community to try to “ improve it together. “

My suggestion for the community would be to create an English version of Panama City here (since this city and Phoenix have many geographical similarities), with certain changes (the most important change is the language …) to improve the appearance of the city . Or maybe another example city?

Hello to the whole community! Since 6 months ago I have been developing the historic district of Vondréaux, called Fort Vondréaux. I have developed it with the greatest possible care, and I want to finally show it to the community.I want to know your opinions. Happy mapping, Mapping Expert.

1. What natural characteristics can I place in Déserts in the space between the desert and the coast?
2. What natural resources could benefit Déserts?

Hello OGF community! My country is in development and I am planning administrative divisions. When dealing with the traditional editor it is a bit complex, but I feel that with JOSM they can be done more easily. I await your opinion on how to create them.

Hello OGF friends! I am the owner of Déserts, in Archanta; and I’ve been getting involved in the international arena. I have seen that there is an Archanta Nations Organizations (which sounds more like the OAS), but at the moment it has no headquarters; so I ask, can it be established in any country? and another is there any other organization in Archanta, apart from CARECU (which plans to join the ARNO)?

Hello OGF community! I have recently completed the planning of the Déserts mapping, but I still have a question. I know that the Nile is a river that crosses the desert, but since there is a some narrow space between the sea and the desert, the rivers will be viable in my country or not? Please comment.

Recently I have obtained a territory in Archanta (thank you for that to admin) called Kingdom of Déserts, mostly covered by desert and then I started to develop the first city, called Argomikos. I have looked for where to contribute in Opengeofiction, but I do not find anything relevant. Most of the spaces in the blue countries are occupied, countries can not be requested and I do not know what else to do. If someone has any suggestions for me where to edit, I accept their ideas.
