Hi. Is anyone mapping their nation’s in the Filipino language (Tagalog)? If so, I would like to know what the equivalent in OGF is. Also we should have a map of the tectonic plates so we can see where mountains would be.
Thanks, Trombonist2003

I’m really certan that all of Mainland Uleta is flooded
Hi! I’m currently not in the possesion of any territory, but I’m working on a city, I’m so lucky that I found this program, for now is that.
Hi!
I have now been mapping on UL080 for a month. The country is now called Eelanti. The country will be based on Nordic area and Nordic culture (mainly Finnish culture). The official language of Eelanti is Eelandese (which is based on Finnish language).
There are already some basic roads, rivers and railways in Eelanti. Some of them are only drafts and they will be edited to look more realistic.
I have also been mapping the village of Peräkylä. There is still a lot to do in Peräkylä but many areas are already mapped. The central part is mainly quite big apartment buildings and some public buildings. The outer parts will be smaller houses. The odd railway is used by the train factory of Peräkylä (Peräkylän junatehdas in Eelandese).
Because this is the first time I map anything this big, I would like to hear your opinions on my work.
Thanks
Eevee
Hi there,
I just want to see if my mapping is correct with the scale. I have created a small area for experimenting, and I would like to have all of you to check it.
(As of the time of this entry posted, the area may not have shown up yet. If not, use the online editors)
Thanks ImmortalHawk
Hey you guys,
I have not mapped a lot recently, but I was planning to start again. I noticed that the map, or maybe only the standard layer, had an update. Some of the coulours seemed different, nothing too dramatic, but then I saw that most, if not all, of my multipolygon relations that I have mapped before have stopped working. The intended result of the mapping is still visible in the Histor-layer and the Topomap, but have disappeared in the Standard-layer.
For example:
http://opengeofiction.net/#map=16/-45.5707/141.8990 The fortress in Zelem, still standing proud in the Histor-layer and Topomap, but submerged beneath the water in the standard-layer
http://opengeofiction.net/#map=15/-45.5251/143.0586 Kolmen and surroundings, the church inside Kolmen is still visible in the Histor-layer and the Topomap, but is gone in the standard-layer. In the surrounding countryside the forrest and the other landscape features are not separated anymore, the forest layer is visible through the grasslands and agricultural areas in the standard-layer.
http://opengeofiction.net/#map=19/-45.65725/142.85881 In my newest town that I was working on, the church is not visible on the square, while in the other two layers it is clearly there.
Did I do something wrong in the past while mapping, or is something wrong with multipolygon relations in the map after an update? Hope you guys can help me with figuring it out.
Thanks in advance
Hi there,
I would like to know if there is something way that I could delete everything in my new country and starting over again. I got permission a few days ago to edit my country and found out that someone had previously edited in here (with or without permission).
It’s hard to delete everything one by one so I’m hoping there’s a quicker way.
Thanks, ImmortalHawk
hello, everybody, I’m back and I am trying to create a national road system I will take all the advice I can get.
Is anyone interested in astronomy? Its been my passion since childhood, and it would be nice to know about and talk with some passionates on the subject.

Hello.
I’d like to propose a highway (Probably motorway-only) network like Europe does, except spur routes. Now the problem is that lots of roads have gaps in between and it’ll be hard to organize, but is it generally a good idea?

The time zones map is really outdated. I was wondering if we could use the multimap extension, which was recently used to show public transport and areas of municipal borders.
Is it currently possible? I haven’t seen coloured areas yet which were generated on the spot.
If possible, we would only need some new relations…
OGF (including the wiki) will be offline for maintenance on Saturday, September 2, starting at 14:00 UTC, for several hours (4-6 presumably).
Hello everyone,
Is there any possibility to make Infowindows on the map, like on Google maps. It would be really cool to give more informations about the locations and espacially to link the Landmarks or buildings directly to Infos or the Wiki. I know its just a Idea but are there more users out there, which are thinking that woud be an idea for the futur of OGF?
happy mapping, Lars
Sorry if people are already aware.
On the wiki I get an error message when I try and save a new page at first and then when I have created it it doesn’t appear in ‘Recent Changes’.
Having been chosen by Alessa as the winner of the weekly word, I have the great pleasure of announcing the 12th weekly word. As a lover of ancient ruins, field archeology and the recovery and conservation of heritage, the weekly word is …
ANCIENT
The deadline will be midnight Monday morning (0:00 UTC).
Happy mapping!

Hello all;
Just wanted to take a quick moment to introduce myself. I have taken possession of AN137e, which is now the Commonwealth of Velthuria. The Velthurian language I will be using for naming is pretty much a re-working of Etruscan (I am a lover of ancient history). I have been interested in various aspects of world building for decades, love to collect maps and am a dedicated roadgeek.
I am very new to OpenStreetMap and JOSM, so I am very open to any constructive criticism regarding my mapping. I look forward to meeting everyone here and am looking forward to mapping out my new territory.
Hello, this is my first post here. Actually I was gonna plan to post here in user diary to introducing my country. So the question is, how do I delete things that already uploaded in OGF inside JOSM? I’ve tried to delete roads in JOSM but it doesn’t disappearing and I’ve waited for days but it doesn’t goes off, except when you delete it on the browser editor, which is very time wasting.
I want to delete my city that I’ve been made for a few months, I feel unsatisfied with my city layout turns out and I have been very wrong since the beginning. I wanna start again from the beginning. So what do you think?
Hello everyone / Bonjour tout le monde,
First post. I recently (not actually, it’s been a week…) claimed UL032 and decided to build a capital city anew. But I’m having problems with street block sizes.
Currently, the size is 200m*250m. I know this is a bit big but is it still reasonable? Places like Ottawa have 200m*100m block size I guess.
Thanks!
Austin
At what point of a nation’s development would it be appropriate to create a Wiki Page for it while not Overwikifying it? I was wonering as I was planning for a Wiki Page for my nation, but am not sure if my nation was even nearly developed enought to even think about planning for one.
Thanks, Trombonist2003
Ran the JOSM validator over this section of map:
http://opengeofiction.net//#map=17/-8.4501/171.8488
And got 13 errors related multipolygons, affecting these items:
relation 74797 relation 74796 relation 74799 relation 74798 relation 74801 relation 74800 relation 74672 way 8175720 way 8175721 way 8175722 way 8175717 way 8175718 way 8175719
And I have no clue how to begin fixing them. If someone could clean this up into something resembling sensible data, it would be appreciated.
