I created a town border for the shown town, based on how they are tagged in OSM. But it’s not showing in OGF. How can I get it to show up?

Tyski and Roliqua haven’t mapped since 2017 I think. I’m not sure if theyre gonna come back on.

It’s time for this month’s mapping challenge. I know a large percentage of our OGF members are either back in school or fairly recent graduates, so it seems fitting to have this month’s theme be about education!

Your challenge this month is to create an educational institution and draw it in high detail. This will require some thinking about how education is structured in your country. It could be a primary school, a gymnasium, technical training facilities, a university, a religious school, or even something creative and unique. Maybe you need a testing facility for university admission (like ACT/SAT testing sites in the US) or for certifications for graduation (like an off-site Bac?). The choice is up to you. The key here, however, is to map things in detail no matter how small it is.

As you complete your new work, share it for the community either below or in the forum. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask a friend! As always, I’ll do my best to provide feedback where I can. Good luck, everyone!

I tried to look at the overview map and I got a message saying “Error:FORBIDDEN” from the site. The map would not load, and the message would not go away. Help!

So this is my second week of active mapping using the in browser editor and I’ve created a pricy neighborhood next to the Margenson airport. I’ve spend some time on the detailing and added all of the buildings, roads, ways…

How do you guys find it? What can I do better?

(The buildings near the neighborhood will get a redone. For example the 8Hotel that is way tooo big :D)

Just wanted to let everybody know, I won’t be mapping for the next 3 weeks or so.

God Willing, I’ll be traveling to the U.S. for the first time in 9 years to visit friends and family in the beautiful state of Maine.

As of right now, I have restarted my country once already, but it’s starting to become a mess now in my opinion. I’m wondering whether it is a good idea to delete it again or not.

Since I have rebuilt my country, I have felt good about the progress I was making at the start, but I am starting to get dissatisfied with the quality of my mapping. Much of the country is empty right now, which tells me that I have made some progress, but I don’t feel like I have made a lot.

Notes to ignore:

• Deng-Ville, as I will be redoing it as well shortly.
• Bézers, as i will be redoing the primary road junction with the motorway.
• The fact that many roads are over-classified in Patin-Loud, I will be downgrading many of them.

Is there a way to make it so you can make large changes to the map, (making large highways, etc etc.) quickly? I don’t have JOSM, so are there any ways to do it quickly in ID or Potlatch?

Hi, guys, I’ve been editing at the island part of Commonia. I’ve started on a small town called Truabury and made another island (small) for mountain-like landscapes. But, whenever I look at it (view), it only shows the name of the island but not the island itself. Is there something I’ve been doing wrong?

I’ve also added an administrative boundary and have followed everything the administrative boundary of Saporti has. It still doesn’t work.
